With the official recognition of disabled workers, they can benefit from aids and services
which aim to help them to access apprenticeship contracts (support and specific law) from
HandiEM or AGEFIPH organization.
The request of
a disabled worker
The request must be formulated close to the Departmental House of Disabled Persons (also
named MDPH in France) in the department where the disabled person lives.
The file is then examined, and the recognition is granted by the commission of rights and
autonomy of disabled persons (also named CDAPH in France) for each MDPH. Specific
arrangements may be performed by training or in companies.
Disabled persons help
At the signature of apprenticeship contract, you can benefit from help. The amount is determined by the age of the person, you may speak with the “disabled person referent” of your company.
Some rules can be set up on these points:
- Duration of the contract, work time and training proceedings.
- Age limit is not applicable when the apprenticeship contract is signed by a person who has the recognition of disabled worker.
